Welcome to 2012! Rohan is not the largest of dragons.
I was going to do this up watercolor style, and that wasn't working out, so I painted it up more fully, but I think at that point I should have just dropped the linework completely. That's what I get for rushing it.
Still: pretty happy with the twilight colors and the colored light.

Overall Vision Originality
Technique
ImpactVision: You want to present the new year by the fact that we enter the year of the dragon.
Originality: I don't know if you intended this, but your dragon is headed for your signature which has 2011 in it and then you have the mouse showing the right direction. Love it!
The mouse in it self with the lightsticks is a good original idea.
Your dragon is very uniq and don't look fooney.
Technique: I miss the shadow under the creature, on the ground. You have done a great job the shadow and lightning on the creatures themself, but the miss of the ground shadow makes the picture a litte incomplete (but this is a nitpick)
Else, I love the coloring and details. The characters pops right at ye and the background dont't take to much attention.
Impact: It's the year of the dragon, so I'm afraid that a great impact it is not with all the dragon pictures that is out there. The idea you had for the picture is great and I hope more sees it.
