Moira. Sometimes finding what we are looking for does not lead to the results we expect.
Working on this for an illustration class. It still needs considerable work, but it is getting pretty close.
This is one of the first times I have tried to pay attention to everything in a painting-- composition, color, symbolism, etc. It is challenging!

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactVision: Very strong imagery and strong meaning...the message is something to really ponder and chew on.
Originality: This idea is not super new...but you certainly made it your own. This composition and view gives a dramatic and fresh feel to the theme of the piece.
Technique: Wonderful color pallet; Love the loose feel from the brushes that you used. However, Moira looks a little flat. Perhaps a tad more light against her front; everything else is lush and full of life!
